Looking Forward

Goals.  I have lots and it's time to narrow them down.  The biggest one for me is to start taking better care of myself.  I am turning 36 in January and, dare I say it, I am starting to feel old.  My knees hurt, it takes longer to get up off the floor and I get tired much more easily.  What will taking better care of myself look like? 
Here are some things that I will include:

  • Exercise 5 days a week (3 days at the gym, minimum)
  • Greatly reduce my sugar intake
  • Stick to a regular sleep schedule (I am SUCH a night owl...this one may be tough)

New Year, New Me

Here it is, my first official blog post.  Quite frankly, I am starting this blog to get my (much too big) behind in gear.  Honestly, I am kind of disgusted with myself.  It's time for a change.  I need to start eating healthier AND working out...A LOT!  I plan to write about my progress and I am hoping it will keep me more accountable.  

I would like this blog to be many things but this is where I will begin...stay tuned!
